She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal Paul Gillen and Maude Dukes Gillen; her husband Loyd Vernon Parker; her son Wade Parker; her grandson Jeremy Michael Simpson; and her brother-in-law Bascom Ray Akins.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Parker (Judy), Paul Parker and Teresa Diane Parker Simpson; her grandchildren, Patrick Robert Parker (Priscilla), Casie Tran Darley, Candice Tran Brake, Tiffany Bridges, Chaney Sagle, Wendy Diane Simpson, Melissa Jean Gray, Anna Nichole Davis, Dylan Richard Lederer, Desi'Rae Nichole Lederer and James Daniel Parker (Leighalle); and her sister Paula Gillen Akins.
In lieu of flowers the family request any memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, 203 South Main Street, Greensboro, GA 30642.
