She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Leon Simmons and Nancy Schaller Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Lewis Wheeler of Greensboro; her siblings, Julie Simmons of North Carolina and Joel; her sister-in-law Jean Simmons of Atlanta; and her nephew Schaller Simmons of Atlanta.
