He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rider Jones and Laura Wood Jones; his wife Martha Wickliffe; his daughter Pamela Carstens (Michael); and his siblings, Velma Weston, Cholie Vandevied, Mildred Newmann, Susie Smith, J. R. Jones, Hunter Jones, Robert Jones and Don Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Jones and Tina Howell (Tim); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve), Natalie (John), Anna (Josh), Laura, David (Dorothy) and Savannah; his great grandchildren, Nikki (Trenton), Bailey, Reece, Camden, Ansley, Kayla, Kristopher, Diana, Lily, Avery and Asher; and his great great grandchild Dawson.
