She was predeceased by: her parents, Reedy L. Walker and Emma Lou Myers Walker; her grandson Jacob Roberts; her siblings, Louise Walker, Annette Phillips, Dot Walker, R. L. Walker and Jimmy Walker; and her nephews, Ed Moody and Randy Walker.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Wayne Long of Greensboro, GA; her daughters, Paige Hubbard (Brian) of Union Point, GA, Teresa Arwood of Greensboro, GA and Candy Arwood of Greensboro, GA; her grandchildren, Justin Hubbard of Union Point, GA, Phillip Hubbard of Union Point, GA and Destiny Arwood of Greensboro, GA.; her sister Linda Thurmond of Crawford, Georgia.; her pet Grizzly; and her sibling's children, Stevie Phillips (Wendy) of Winder, GA, Terry Phillips (Susan) of Commerce, GA, Jeff Moody (Terri) of Jefferson, GA, Connie Phillips of Cleveland, GA, Mike Moody (Patti) of Watkinsville, GA and Cindy Cueny (John) of Cape Coral, FL. She is also survived by numerous other great nieces and great nephews; and several great, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCommons Funeral Home (109 W Broad St, Greensboro, GA 30642). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Union Point Worship Center (4971 Lamb Ave, Union Point, GA 30669).
