She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Franz Cordier and Fredrick Leo Cordier; her husband Wilburn Eugene Cooper of Choctaw County, AL.; and her sister Donna. She is survived by: her children, Karen Johnson (Mark) of Monroe, TN., Tracy (Sheri) of Wanette, OK., Kevin Cooper (Savannah) of Lavaca, AR. and Brian Cooper (Christy) of Monroe, GA.; her brother Ken (Mary Ellen); her grandchildren, Brandon (Stephanie), Alex (Ellie), Erik, Desiree and Taisha; her great grandchildren, Amelia, Basil, Lerus, Akila, Hassan, Imir and Khalil; and her sister-in-law Virginia Singley (Cooper) of Butler. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church (6341 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, GA 30642). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Barrytown Cemetery (1298 Barrytown Rd, Gilbertown, AL 36908).
