He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Hughs Tolbert and Martha Elizabeth English Tolbert; and his sister Connie Wood. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Harwell Tolbert of Crawfordville, GA; and his nieces and nephews, Leigh Ann Wood Thompson (Stephen) of Greensboro, GA, Michael Wood of Greensboro, GA, Beth Hall (Bruce) of Union Point, GA and Matthew Wood. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCommons Funeral Home (109 W Broad St, Greensboro, GA 30642). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McCommons Funeral Home Chapel (109 W Broad St, Greensboro, GA 30642).
