We announce the death of Alex Perdue of Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 54. Alex will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronnie Perdue and Brenda Perdue; his mother-in-law Darlene Dickens; and his grandchildren, Callie Bennett and Emory Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Dickens Perdue; his children, Chelsea Irby (Joshua), Michael Perdue, Brad Festerman, Kayla Stroud (Deshawn), Brittany Perdue (Dakota) and Misty Sorrell; his grandchildren, Ryker Perdue, Brooks Slaughter, Maddie Slaughter, Isaiah Stroud, Myriah Stroud, Nevaeh Goolsby, Elijah Ferguson, Peyton Hightower, Leo Sorrell, Nolan Festerman, Kylie Festerman, Baleigh Cheshire and Tyler Dickens; his brother Victor; his sister-in-law Kay Perdue; his siblings, Tracey Goodman and Kirt; his sister-in-law Angie Perdue; his sister Missie Wyatt (Tommy); his in-laws, Ben, Deborah Hunt, Fran, Greg Howell and Michael Dickens; and his uncle Scott Putman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
