She was predeceased by: her father Joel Neely Elrod; her husband Bennie Marvin Leverette; her son Ben E. Leverette; her brother Joel Neely Elrod, Jr.; and her nephew David Elrod.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce; her son-in-law Louis Adams of Griffin; her grandchildren, Jennifer, David Bock of Louisville, Jessica and Donald Justus of Griffin; her great grandchildren, Jackie, Tiffany, Austin and Trent; her great great grandchild Jaxson; and her niece Kaye (Carroll Triplett). She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to DeVotie Baptist Church in Memory of Mrs. Leverette.
