She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Irvin Clark and Laura Katherine Reeves Clark; her husband John W. Knowles Sr.; and her siblings, Peggy Lawson and Ronnie Clark.
She is survived by: her children, John Wesley "Sport" Knowles Jr. and Larissa Knowles; her adoptive son Lewis Grady Smith III; her grandchildren, Dakota Lee, Olivia Holleman, James Edward Glass Jr. and Aiden Shayne Knowles; her great grandchild Hollis Darien Lee Holleman; and her siblings, Jerry Clark, Lennis Clark Sr., Kathie Juarez, Patricia Sladek and Patsy Clark. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
