Cathy Kirkland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2025, at the age of 70, Cathy Kirkland of Griffin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Cathy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cathy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Lynwood Brooks (late Steve Kirkland). She is survived by: her children, Kimberly M. Leach (Tommy Bacot) and Jason Bush (Kelli); her grandchildren, Courtney Couch and Aubrey Leach; her brother Brian Brooks; Carol Walker Brooks. She is also survived by several nieces, nephew and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
