It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris Johnson of Griffin, Georgia, born in Hampton, Georgia, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Presnell (Danny) of Griffin, Lisa Ferrell (Jack) of Greensboro, John David Johnson of Griffin and Damon Johnson (Holly) of Alabama; and her siblings, Freddy Steitz, Tommy Steitz, Charlie Steitz, Becky Steitz and Ramond Mallett. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren; her 21 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends.
