It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Bartlett Searcy Jr. (Griffin, Georgia), who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Bartlett Searcy, Sr. and Agnes Scott Searcy. He is survived by: his siblings, Leila Fortune Bell and Scott Hamilton Searcy; his wife Cherry; his children, Kelly Garverick (Beau) of Indianapolis, Daniel Searcy III (Stephanie) of Griffin, Dianne Searcy Smoot, Lynn Searcy and Shelly Searcy Adams; his grandchildren, Bailey Garverick, Ellen and Stroud Searcy; his siblings' children, James R. Fortune, Jr. of Griffin, Scott H. Searcy, Jr. (Ann) of Savannah, Agnes Fortune of Washington, DC and Patti Searcy of Griffin; and his cousin Jim Searcy of Griffin.
