We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2025, at the age of 79, Darlene Dickens of Griffin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius W. Johnson and Mary Lou Holston Johnson; her grandchildren, Justin Howell and Chandler Cheshire; and her great grandchildren, Callie and Emory Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Perdue (Alex), Fran Howell (Greg), Deborah Hunt (Benjamin) and Michael Dickens; her grandchildren, Chris Dickens, Brittany Howell, Baleigh Cheshire, Misty Sorrell, Tyler Dickens, Bradley Festerman, Michael Perdue, Kayla Stroud, Brittany Perdue, Chelsea Irby, Peyton Hightower and Leo Sorrell; and her siblings, Wanda Killingsworth, Darrell Johnson and Bruce Butler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
