With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Aguirre (Griffin, Georgia), born in San Benito, Texas, who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As David departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved David. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenio Aguirre and Victoria Johnson Aguirre; and his siblings, Bill Aguirre and Margaret Aguirre. He is survived by: his husband John Peter Pund; and his brothers, Daniel Aguirre (Patty), John Aguirre and Rick Aguirre (Gracie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
