David William Main Obituary

We announce the death of David William Main (Griffin, Georgia), born in Plainfield, New Jersey, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 76. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Main and Elizabeth Hunter Main; and his brother-in-law Gyuri Nemeth. He is survived by: his wife Louise Currin Main; his daughters, Amy Allagnon (Stephane) and Suzanne Benton (Shaun); his grandchildren, Ethan Allagnon, Eric Allagnon, Kade Benton (Cat), Kaleb Benton (Camilla), Scott Bennett, Kensley Firth (Braden), Zachary Bennett and Carter Benton; and his siblings, Susan Nemeth and Jeffery Main (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
