Davis Johnson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Davis Johnson of Griffin, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Homer Johnson and Jeanelle Brooks Johnson; and his brother Harold Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Dayle "Dixie" Johnson; his children, Robin Bounds and Allen "Dave" Davis Johnson; his grandchildren, Zack Smith (Taran), Jarad Smith (Chastin), Cadie Parrish (Bryan), Micayla Homiller (Trent), Rebecca Floyd (Brad) and Anna Armstrong (Neil); his siblings, Russell Johnson and Penny Taylor (Steve); Bryan Parrish. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Yaarab Temple at 400 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30308 and designate it for the Children's Hospital.
