Doris W. Long Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 24, 2025, at the age of 94, Doris W. Long of Griffin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Doris may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doris touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father George Washington White; her son Randy Long; and her grandson Benji Mobley. She is survived by: her children, David Michael "Mike" Long (Becky) and Debera Shirah (Tommy); her grandchildren, Carly Rusk (Matt), Benson Mobley and Matthew Long; and her great grandchildren, Dalton, Hunter and Lawson Mobley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
