It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy May Pitts of Griffin, Georgia, born in Jonesboro, Georgia, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin L. Pitts; and her grandson Kerry Pitts. She is survived by: her children, Lexine (Mike Muza), Brudell (Jennifer Pitts) and Chanchler M. (Linda Pitts); her grandchildren, Wendy Pitts Mangham, Chad Akin, Shane Pitts and Jessica Pitts Bell; and her sister Bessie Stewart Goddard. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 3 great- great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Living Waters Church in memory of Mrs. Pitts.
