She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robert Sykes, Jr. and Lucinda Glanton Sykes Barnes; and her brother Vernon Sykes. She is survived by: her former husband Ed Ridgway; her husband Ed's Carburetor; her sons, Robert Paul Ridgway (Regina), Ed Ridgway, Jr. (Alicia) and Bryon Keith Ridgway; her granddaughters, Haley Michelle Ridgway, Rachel Nicole Ridgway, Rebecca Ann Warren and Kimberly Bryan Carter; and her siblings, Jeanette Pendley, Claudette Dumas, Barbara Ann Wray, David Barnes, Raymond Sykes and Thomas "Tommy" Sykes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
