She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Fowler and Inez Pilgram Fowler; her former husband Jesse Clarence Champion; her siblings, James "Gene" Fowler, Mary Lou Chambley, Ray Fowler and Larry Fowler; and her grandchildren, Jesse Champion, Jr. and Len Hines.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Champion (Betty Nell Hicks) of Griffin and Linda Lou Stevens (Bill) of Milner; her granddaughters, Lisa Peeples (Tim) and Sherry Dietz; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Victoria, Bella and Emma; her great great grandchild Jesse Cole; and her siblings, Eddie Fowler (Betty) of McDonough and Margie Brannon (Jimmy) of Franklin.
