It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Ball Lipscomb (Griffin, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Elizabeth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Elizabeth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eugene Ball and Esther McCosker Ball; and her siblings, Eugene Ball (Bubba), Mark Ball and Margaret Ball Berry.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Leigh Lipscomb Whitlock, Edwin Lee Lipscomb (GinnyAnne), Tracy Lynn Lipscomb Roberson (Robbie) and MaryBeth Lipscomb Chafin (Steve). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Haisten McCullough Funeral Home (1155 Everee Inn Rd, Griffin, GA 30224). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church Griffin ministries at 106 W Taylor Street, Griffin, GA 30223.
