She was predeceased by: her parents, Arland Butler and Mae Short Butler; her husband Bernard Hubert Smith, Sr.; her daughter Beverly Mitchell (Sissie); and her siblings, Pearl Harmon, Arlene Meredith, Jerry Holcombe, David Butler and Hilton Butler.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert "Robby" Smith (Lynett) of Senoia and Bernard "Bubba" Smith (Tonya) of Williamson; her grandchildren, Brandy Daniel, Meghan Rambler, Shae Smith (Meredith), Heather Miller (Nathan), Johnathan Smith, Dawn and Sumer Doss (TJ); her great grandchildren, Haley, Cohen, Macie, Grace, Mason, Hudson, Paxton, Maddox, Hayden, Bryson, Presleigh, Elaina and Brooklyn; and her great great grandchildren, Emery and Jax. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorials be made to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 14550 US-19, Griffin, GA 30224 in memory of Mrs. Smith.
