He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann McCord Chambers; his son Kelley; his niece Tonya Johnson Jones (Shane Jones); his great-niece Emma Shane (Hogan); his great-nephews, Grant and Rhett; his nephew Ron Johnson; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lane Johnson and Dylan Johnson; his brother-in-law Dr. Michael McCord; his children, Dr. Brian and MaryBeth Griffith; his grandchildren, Caleb, Megan and Grace; his son Aidan; his brother-in-law Patrick Blake McCord; Lora Ballard Johnson, Kay Butler McCord, Fay Kilgore McCord, Rebecca McCord and Britt McCord.
