Franklin Carl Wendt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Franklin Carl Wendt of Griffin, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Franklin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Franklin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wendt and Florence Mills Wendt. He is survived by: his wife Penny Seawell Wendt; his children, Pamela Munster (Daniel) and Patrick Wendt; and his grandsons, Joshua Munster and Benjamin Munster.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pomona Community Church (1143 Kilgore Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
