It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred McGhin of Griffin, Georgia, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Elizabeth Boldlt. He is survived by: his father Byron A. McGhin; his wife Brenda M. McGhin; his daughters, Lisa Marie Bragg (Russell), Stephanie Jeanine Turner (Danny) and Jennifer Ann Ward (Eddie); his grandchildren, Seth Weatherup (Evan), Abbi Weatherup, Miranda Turner, Kailee Bolden (Noah), Eli Turner, Liam Turner, Gabe Ward (Alyssa), Kelsey Womack (R. J.), Hailey Wood (Caleb), Jordyn Ward, Kaitlyn Davis (Timothy), Emma Morgan, Ethan Morgan and Laney Ward; his great grandchildren, Ava, Jude, Nora, Gideon, Emery, Whit, Brooklyn, Waylon and Gunner; and his sister Jeanne Mange. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
