He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy T. Goen and Mildred Peacock; his brothers, Roger and Murray Goen; and his stepsister Luanne Awtry.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Melton Goen; his children, Terry Goen and Kimberly Prothro (David); his granddaughter Kristian Goen; and his sister-in-law Linda McClain. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
