It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriett Ann Elliott of Griffin, Georgia, born in Decatur, Georgia, who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Thomas Paul Jones and Hattie Vining Jones; her husband James Elliott Sr.; her son James Elliott Jr.; and her granddaughter Rebecca Purcell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Dykes (Danny Duffey) and Cynthia Elliott (Sandra Flippen); and her grandchildren, Chasity Purcell, Kamya Purcell, Dejuan Purcell, Juan Gordon, Warren Robbins, Chirstopher Scheller and Daniel Scheller. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
