She is survived by: her children, David Akin (Lagene), Susan Akin Vaughn (Allen) and Alan Akin; her sisters, Faye Carter Key, Shirley Mulkey, Judy Moss (Arthur) and Melba Brown (David); and her grandchildren, Davey Akin (Aubrey), Nick Akin (Julie), Eli Akin (Whitney), Austin Lemieux (Kim), Jake Lemieux (Stephanie), Clint Lemieux, Gracie Akin and Katie Akin.
