He is survived by: his son Willie James Gault; his grandchildren, Shakari Okwudibonye-Gault (Greg) of California and Gabriel James Gault (Devon) of California; his daughter Zina Chambers of New York; his sibling's children, Josie Gault and Philip Gault; his siblings-in-law, Annie Tyce, Gladys Jordan, Odessa Akins, Nancy Hawthorne, Early James Hawthorne, Turner Hawthorne, Jessie Hawthorne, Michael Hawthorne and Leroy Hawthorne; and his cousins, Apostle, Mamie Harris Smith and Berdie McCune. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
