He is survived by: his wife Linda Dawson Higgins; his children, James Higgins, Jr. (Francisca), Gregory Edward Higgins (Tucker) and Lesley Higgins Mocek; and his grandchildren, James Higgins, III (Beth), Lauren Nicole Brown (Gary), Haleigh Noel Doster (Chris), Megan Alexandra Snow (Brandon) and Dawson Cole Mocek (Ali). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
