It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Purser of Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Arlin B. Stitcher and Vaughtelle Young Stitcher; her daughter Cherry Purser-Hughes; and her sisters, Sandra Chapman and Linda Jett.

She is survived by: her husband Lamar Purser; her children, Donna LaPrade (Joe), Arline Miller (Jimmy) and Ricky Purser' (Leslie); her grandchildren, Jeremy LaPrade (Angela), Katie Leikam (Joe), Josh Collins (Lauren), Riley Purser (Sheena), Rachel Spiaggi (Billy), Tristan Hughes and Jordan Hughes; and her sisters, Pat Chapman and Susan Byous. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild.
