He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Rainey and Edna Wilson Connally; and his siblings, Michael Gasaway and Jeanette Connally. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Thacker Rainey; his children, Regina Morris (John Bailey), James Rainey (Amy) and Alyssa Hately (Blake); his grandchildren, Brittany Zubia (Chris), Brandon Rainey and Jacob Rainey; his great grandchildren, Brayden Zubia and Ashe Zubia; and his siblings, Shirley Harden (Cato), Charles Gasaway (Sue), Linwood Connally and William Connally. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
