He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Vanderslice and Helen Stolpmann Vanderslice. He is survived by: his wife Rita Burke Vanderslice; his children, Eric Oliver Vanderslice (Jenny) of Huntsville, AL and Leanna Marlin (Tom) of Griffin; his grandchildren, Abigail Vanderslice, Jacob Marlin and Patrick Marlin; his brother Roy Vanderslice (Joan) of Marietta; his sister-in-law Renee Burke Tatum (David); and his pet Mindy.
