He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Bonds Gibbins; and his siblings, Earl "Jabo" Gibbins, Jr., Ernest "Buddy Joe" Gibbins and Kathy "Sissy" Reeves. He is survived by: his siblings, Homer L. Gibbins, Rosie Gibbins, Donnie Gibbins, Charles Gibbins, Billy Gibbins, Brian Gibbins and Raymond Gibbins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
