She was predeceased by: her spouse Durell "Lappy" Wilson Sr.; her parents, R. G. Culpepper and Vera Culpepper; her siblings, Albert Culpepper, Frances White, Bessie Gunter and R. G. Culpepper; and her nephew Steve Rogers.

She is survived by: her son Durell; her daughter-in-law Tammy Wilson; and her sibling's children, Carol Darden (Harry), Marlene Maines, John White (Karen) and Kim Bailey (Gary).
