He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Rogers and Mae Rogers; and his siblings, Harold, Gerald, Joe Rogers and Marthanel Ballard.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Rogers; his son Wes Rogers (Anisa); his grandchildren, Harrison and Kate; his siblings, Mary Maxwell and Randall Rogers; his siblings-in-law, Joann Rogers, Brenda Rogers, Patricia McClain and Russell Cunningham (Susan); and his stepmother-in-law Sarah Cunningham. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews as well as many special friends.
