She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Jordan; her children, Grady Hancock and Joyce Hancock; her parents, Levy Taylor, Sr. and Leila Baker Taylor; and her siblings, Catherine Taylor, Marie Taylor Pyron, Raymond Taylor, Robert Taylor and Levy Taylor, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Alisa Walker (Pastor James Walker) and Belinda Hancock; her grandchildren, Corey Walker (Tamika Vandergriff), Brittany Walker (David Desir), James J. Walker (Cassie Coubertier) and Johnessa Hancock; and her goddaughter Belinda Weems. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, a big family of cousins, and many adopted family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eighth Street Baptist Church (408 Palace St, Griffin, GA 30223).
