With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lonnie Catlett of Griffin, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. "Jack" Catlett and Edna Newsome Catlett; and his cousins, G. A. "Bo" Newsome and Steve Ivey. He is survived by: his wife Terry Warren Catlett; his son Brent Turk (Chelsea); his grandsons, Wyatt and Lucas Turk; his brother Jimmy Catlett (Myrt); and his cousins, Kathy Talley, Joy Denton, Melinda Ivey, Melissa Newsome, Judy Newsome and Candy Ford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (215 Lee Ave, Chickamauga, GA 30707). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
