He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Watts and Ollie Mae Barkley Watts; his siblings, Willie James Watts, Willey Barkley, Peter Watts, Willie B. Watts, Bobby Watts, Mary Goodrum, Doris Watts and Ronnie Watts, Sr.; and his grandson Marques Antwain Welch, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Watts; his children, Tammy Watts, Mension Watts, Lonnie Watts, Jr., Zoie Watts, Zoietia Watts, Zurie McDowell and Brittany Walker; his siblings, Katie Mae Barkley, Ester Patton (Leslie), Betty Watts, Charlie Watts (Sandra) and Carrie Watts; and his grandchildren, Latisha Sands, Quentia Sands, Lakyna Sands, Mariques Sands, Sojourner Welch, Zikyha Lindsey, Wazon Lindsey, I, Naja Taylor, Ly'Angel Watts, Alonnis Watts, Lonnie Jr. Watts, Amiracle Watts, Zayveun Watts, Jabari Watts, Aahmez Dennis, Jamel Bray, Zakius Parks, Bailey Thomas and Zaiden McDowell. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
