He is survived by: his wife Cindy Eckerson (Fenley); his children, Michelle Schlemmer, James Eckerson, Ashton Roberts, Gabrielle Berry and Cody Jackson; his grandchildren, Titus Schlemmer, Auna Johanson, Ashlynn Roberts and Oliver Gilbert-Roberts; his mother Jackie Stowe; his sisters, Veronica Hartsell (Greg), Denise Griffin (Rick) and Dana Shepard (Marla); and his in-laws, Bobby, Ernestine Fenley, Sharon Fenley and Shane Fenley (Kristi). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Union Baptist Church (1405 N McDonough Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
