It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the death of Mark Fitzgerald Washington, age 56, of Griffin, Georgia. Mark passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his birth father Eugene of Washington. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer McCoy of Griffin, Georgia. His children, bonus and biological: Mark Cafeo of Atlanta, Georgia; Sydney Croteau of Daytona, Florida ; Katara Washington of Valrico, Florida; Lakeisha Washington, Tamiera Washington and Mark Washington Jr, all of Martinsburg, West Virginia; his grandchildren: Emanti Shedd of Valrico, Florida; Jaxon Peters, Sky Washington and Mekai Commer, all of Martinsburg, West Virginia ; his parents: Darrel and Marian Wilcoxon of Columbia, Maryland; his grandmother, Carrie M. Wyatt of Chicago, Illinois; his godparents, Nelson and Pat Gibbs of South Carolina; and his siblings, Eugene "Gino" of Waldorf, Maryland; Darrel Wilcoxon Jr. of Yorktown, Virginia; Eugenia Anne (Andy) of Martinsburg, West Virginia; Michele Satchel (Erik) of Waldorf, Maryland; Elizabeth Puller (Keenan) of Martinsburg, West Virginia; Chanel Trussel (Christopher Sr.) of Owings Mills, Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and other extended family and friends.
