We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2020, at the age of 70, Melanie Callahan Gilmer of Griffin, Georgia, born in Homestead, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, William Lewis Callahan and Dorothy Mae Caldwell Callahan; her siblings, Bill Callahan, Mary Ellen Mount and Bob Callahan (Susan); her niece Julia Vadakkumpaden (Fijoy); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Della, Briel and Liam; her niece Catherine Wright (Dustin); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Eli and Marii; her niece Christine Callahan; her sister-in-law Carol Callahan; her niece Wendy Willoughby (Kyle); her great-niece Anna; her great-nephew Jake; her son Cory Callahan; and her grandchildren, Hunter, Fisher and Anslee.
