Michael Shackelford Obituary
Mr. Michael "Pa Shack" Shackelford, age 76 of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at his home. Mr. Shackelford was born July 8, 1941 in Griffin to the late Travis & Evelyn Shackelford. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marlyn Shackelford. He retired from Delta Airlines and was a loyal member of the Griffin Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his children, Michael & Tammie Shackelford of Griffin, Michelle Payne & Craig Jackson of Locust Grove and Amanda & Chris Edwards, grandchildren, Michael Glen & Amber Shackelford, Katie Jo Daniel, Erin Hernandez, Sara Hernandez & Gabe Aguilera, Mylee Mobley, Shaun & Brittany St. Clair, Victoria St. Clair, Daniel Edwards and Allison Edwards; great-grandchildren, Ellie and Michael May, Gabrielle and Madelyn Aguilera, Kohan and Jada St. Clair and god-daughter, Regina Castaneda, Daniel Ontiveros, Sally Ontiveros, Rebekah Ontiveros.
Funeral services for Mr. Michael "Pa Shack" Shackelford will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
