It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wayne Martin of Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Shirley Jeanette Martin Maddox (Charles); and also Gregory Lawson Martin. He is survived by: his son Jeremy Martin; his granddaughter Autumn Barton of Griffin; his brother Howard Martin of Griffin; his nieces and nephews, Cynthia Maddox Butler (Roland) of Davenport, Karen Sprayberry (Glenn) of Griffin, Tim Martin (Amy) of McDonough and Lee Martin (Stephanie) of Tujunga, CA; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sloan Martin of McDonough, Chris Sprayberry (Brandy) of Griffin, Joshua Sprayberry (Lauren) of Lake Oconee, Thomas Maddox Butler of Nashville, TN and Grace McKinley Butler (Joseph) of Watertown, TN; and also, Haley Benedict (Chad), Emma Sprayberry, Camryn Sprayberry, McKenna Sprayberry and Rowan Maddox Cook.
