Mildred Louise Gaudry Obituary

Mildred Louise "Micki" Gaudry or more affectionately known as "Gran Gran" age 76 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, at her residence.

Micki was born in Dublin, Georgia on December 3, 1949. Her parents, Hanion Thomas Johnson and Dessie Mae Mimbs Johnson Hicks and her nephew, Derek Roseberry, preceded her in death. She retired from Clayton County School System where she taught at several schools and finished her career as Coordinator of the School Nutrition Program. Mildred was a member of Southside Christian Fellowship in Hampton, Georgia, where she served as an elder. Micki also volunteered at the Pregnancy Crisis Center in Henry County and served as a leader with Gathering of Eagles at her church. Closest to her heart, she was a loving mother and Gran Gran.

Survivors include son, David Gaudry (Jenice), son, Chad Gaudry (Lauren), grandchildren, Micah Gaudry (Summer), Matthew Gaudry (Kaci), Savannah Gaudry, Hannah Gaudry, Caleb Gaudry, great granddaughter, Olive Gaudry, brother, Hanion Johnson, sister, Lavon Massie, her loyal pet companion, Munchkin, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Pastor Eddie Mason and Pastor Herman Mason will officiate. Interment will be in The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, Rex, Georgia.
