Miriam Elizabeth Hood Davis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Elizabeth Hood Davis of Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James P. Toole and Joyce Toole; her spouse Jackie Davis; and her brothers, John and Rick.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Schrader (Charles) and Jeff Hood (Leslie); her grandchildren, Cathryn, Meagan, Jonathan, Lauren, Jordan, Austin, Samuel and Wyatt; her great grandchildren, Logan, Jolea, Bryson, Joshua and Lily; her brother Lamar Toole (Mary); and her sister-in-law Arlene Toole. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Jonesboro First United Methodist Church (142 S Main St, Jonesboro, GA 30236).
