She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Buffington and George Buffington; her husbands, Bobby James, Sr. and Culpepper; her sisters, Allene Grizzle, Mary Higgins, Grace McLean, Ellen Shirey and Louise Anderson; and her daughter-in-law Pam James.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Miller (Mike) of Milner, Gene James of Meansville, Ricky James (Laurie) of Morganton and Mark James (Tammy) of Griffin; her grandchildren, Wesley James (Angela) of Powder Springs, Brian Miller (Laura) of Milner, Robby James (Vanessa) of Barnesville, Josh Miller (Beth) of Barnesville, Matt James of Port St, Lindsay James of Griffin and Emma James of Griffin; and her siblings, Jimmy Buffington (Sarah) of Griffin and Frances Smith (Buster) of Griffin. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
