He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Skeet Mathews (Angel), Meaka Mathews Maddox (David) and Richard Mathews (April Rivers); his grandchildren, Jalyn, Brandon, Kaleb, Makiah, Ciara and Lilyana; and his siblings, Brenda Watson, Rudy Mathews, Brian Mathews and Greg Slappey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many pets.
