With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Arnold Fannin Jr. of Griffin, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his mother Lois "Tanny" Steele Fannin; and his siblings, Frances Salter, Haywood Fannin, Gladys Anderson and Ava Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie "Joe" McKneely Fannin; his son Kevin Robert Fannin (Sandra); his grandson Justin Robert Fannin (Lindsey); his great grandchildren, Autumn Fannin and Sadie Fannin; his grandson Ashton Fannin (Krystal); his great grandchild Carson Fannin; his granddaughter Kristin Medina (Juan); his great grandchild John Medina; his children, Karen Darden (Hiram) and Kent Fannin (Lita); his grandchildren, Warren "Hauk" Fannin (Victoria O'Conner) and Hollie Barber (Jessie); his great grandchildren, Levi Barber and Zillie Barber; and his grandchildren, Hayden Fannin and Hattie Murto (Aidan).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the County Line Umc Cemetery (416 County Line Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to County Line United Methodist Church 416 County Line Church Road, Griffin, GA 30223, in memory of Robert.
