He was predeceased by: his parents, James J Gilbert and Innell Melton Gilbert; his siblings, Randy Gilbert, Wade Gilbert, Harrington Gilbert, Ricky Gilbert and Feburia "Bicky" Gilbert Reedy; and his sisters-in-law, Anne Bramlett Gilbert and Mary Ann Wynn Gilbert.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy Gilbert and Nyoka Gilbert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
